Mary Monaco, age 96, of West Haven died February 23, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the wife of the late Joseph Monaco. Mother of Anthony “Tony” (Helen) Monaco of West Haven and the late Angela Marie DeStefano. Sister of the late Frank, Rose, Benjamin, Andrew, Jimmy, Mario and John Gravante. Also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was born in Grazzanise, Province of Caserta, Italy, December 5, 1914, daughter of the late Joseph and Angela D’Orso Gravante.
