Mary “Marie” A. (D’Agostino) Peccerillo, 69, of Newington, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Peccerillo. Born and raised in New Britain, daughter of the late Louis and Elvira (DiFrederico) D’Agostino, she was a Newington resident for 35 years. Marie was a devout Catholic and a member the Church of the Holy Spirit in Newington. She enjoyed making many types of crafts and displaying them at craft shows. She had a love for animals and a warm heart, always displaying kindness to others and offering her assistance whenever it was needed. Marie had a friendly and outgoing spirit and enjoyed talking to people. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her three daughters, Laurie Heineman of Berlin, Lisa Shive and her husband Peter of Wethersfield and Lynn Peccerillo-Hills and her husband George of Marlborough and four grandchildren, Jason and Ryan Heineman and Brianna and Quinn Shive. She also leaves her sister Lois Maitz and her husband Joseph of Plainville, sister-in-law Frances Peccerillo of Berlin, her nephew Cory Maitz and his wife Emilia of Burlington, her niece Andrea Botticello of Newington and extended family in Italy. She was predeceased by her nephews Todd Maitz and Nick Peccerillo.
