Mary Louise Mai was passed away on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mary was born October 16th, 1931 in Louisville, Colorado. Mary is preceded in death by husband, Robert V Mai; son, Richard; father, George Mudrock; stepfather, Homer Lambrecht; mother, Doris Lambrecht; and her brother, George Mudrock. She is survived by a brother, Homer Lambrecht Jr. and wife Judy; son, Roger, his wife Malissia; daughter, Lynda Mai; son, Bobby, his wife Kathrine; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mary married Robert V. Mai April 21, 1951 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They lived in Torrington, Wyoming for a short time then moved back to Cheyenne, Wyoming until April 1961 when they moved to Albuquerque, NM where they lived till their passing.
Mary was a mother and a homemaker. She loved art, sewing, and cooking. She dabbled in art as a young lady and love to sew. She sewed clothes for her kids, and had different projects going all the time, as well as sewing a wedding dress for a friend of the family. She was loved by many. The Mai home was always a hub of activity. Mary was always generous and welcoming. When friends and the kid’s friends came by, Mary always made sure that if it was a meal time, she would make sure all had something to eat. She had things for the kids to do, such as taffy pulls, cooking, and various other things to do around the house.
Mary was an avid Bible reader and was active in her faith. Mary will be missed by many.
