Leominster – Mary Madeleine (Legere) Boegemann, 72, of Leominster, died March 15, 2014, in Apple Valley Center, Ayer, MA after an illness. She was born in Groton, MA February 1, 1942, daughter of Agustine and Eliana (Bourgeois) Legere. Mrs. Boegemann loved teaching and was a teacher who taught at St. Leo’s Elementary jnLeominster from 1979 to 1989, then at St. Bernard’s Catholic High School in Fitchburg from 1989 to 2005. She was a member of St. Leo’s Parish, of Leominster, and St. Leo’s Choir. She also was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish of Shirley, MA. She was precedeased by her husband, Husband Francis E. Boegemann Sr., who died January 9, 2003.
She is survived by one son, Francis E. Boegemann Jr., and his wife Cheri, of Leominster, one daughter, Michelle Sauer, and her husband Timothy, of Shirley, and one brother, David Legere, three grandchildren; Chad Sauer, Noah Sauer, and Ava Boegemann.
