Born on August 18, 1921 in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Mary (Pell) McDonald. She is survived by her son, Douglas A. Gerard, MD and wife Maria of New Hartford and daughter, Diane Andrews and husband Robert Andrews of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Richard V. Gerard.
