Mary Lucile Cochran was born Thursday, October 20, 1921 in Denison, Texas, and passed from this life on Monday, May 5, 2014 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Carroll Dean Savage. She is survived by daughter, Mary Anne Andrade & husband John Mullin; daughter, Sally Kemble & husband John; and son, Stone Savage & wife Diana. She is also survived by grandchildren, Alex Andrade & wife Carolyn Bush; Isabel Crosby & husband Merrit; Collin Kemble & wife Christi; Stella Savage and great grandchildren, Eloise Andrade, Claire Crosby and Elise Kemble.
Mary was a graduate of The Hockday School and Southern Methodist University. She also earned her Masters in counseling from the University of North Texas. She was the first female Vice Principal for the Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD and served 2 terms on the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD School Board.
