Mary Robertson died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Lakewood Hospital, Lakewood, OH. She was born October 14, 1918 in Ashland, OH., to Seth and Zella (Fulk) Gongwer. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Harry C. Robertson, on October 7, 2008.
Mary graduated from Ashland High School in 1936 and lived all of her life in Ashland. She worked at A.L. Garber Co. before starting her family, and returned to work in the Ashland City School System food service program after her children started school. She was also a Red Cross volunteer for many years.
She is survived by her three children, Lynn (Gary) Newbacher of Lakewood, Nancy (Tim) Rogers and Tom Robertson, both of Ashland; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lee and Jean Robertson of Ashland; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
