Mary Fletcher, 86, passed away at her home in No. Ogden on November 12, 2016. She was born July 28, 1930 in Anton Chico, New Mexico the daughter of Dessie (Shope) and Dewey Levi Lakey. Her family moved to Weber County when she was six. She graduated from Ogden High, class of 48, and Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

Mary married Glen Wallace Fletcher in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 10, 1950. As a member of the LDS Church, she served in a variety of organizations.

Her first love was spending time with her family. She was a registered nurse and worked as a supervisor in several area hospitals, as well as a Public Health Nurse for the Weber County Health Department. She enjoyed family history as a researcher and author. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing and was an election judge.

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Glen; children, Glenna (Jerald) Bowden, Ronda Fletcher, Dennis (Vickie) Fletcher, Norman (Michaeline) Fletcher, Nathan (Janet) Fletcher, Shawn (Shar) Fletcher; 30 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Ruth) Lakey and Joe (Marge) Lakey and a sister, Fran Richards.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
