Mary Lousie Cloyd went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2013. She was born on November 1, 1920 in Clinton to Scott and Elizabeth Craig. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1938. She began her working career at her Uncle John Goldner’s cafe, Palace Club. This is where she met her husband of 64 years, Carl F. Cloyd, who preceded her in death April 24, 2005. They were married on November 28, 1940. She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, 50 year member of Wakofe Club, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and the Lioness Club.

She worked as a bookkeeper. She kept books for her father’s business, worked at Vermillion Co. Trustees office and ran the license branch. She also had worked for 16 years at Clinton State Bank.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl F. Cloyd, a son Carl Craig Cloyd, four brothers; Tom, Jack, Doyne and Joe Craig and one sister Irene Lundstrum and a nephew Dave Craig.

She is survived by three sons; G.
