Died Wednesday morning March 13, 2019, at her residence. Mary Lou was born June 23, 1927, in Charlevoix, Michigan a daughter of Albert and Bernice (Schooley) Shaw. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 40 years, coming from Traverse City. Mary Lou was also a member of Lighthouse Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George Shaw; a sister, Marcella Balthaser. On June 23, 1946, she was united in marriage to Edwin G. Gregory who survives. Also surviving, are 4 children, Anne Gregory of Kalamazoo, James and David Gregory both of Traverse City, MI, and Linda (Thomas) White of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister, MaeZella (Robert) Potter of Charlevoix, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
