Mary Lou Lacy, 90, of Middletown, passed away on July 25, 2013 at her residence. She was born on January 7, 1923 in Delaware County and resided most of her life in Middletown. Mary Lou had worked as a Clerk for Anderson Banking Company. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church where she served as treasurer, board member, and Sunday school teacher.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, Sandra L. Berney, Frank R. Anita Lacy, and Stuart W. Angela Lacy; grandchildren, Erin Hawkins, Devin Kelley, Bryan Karen Berney, Chris Amy Berney, David Berney, John Berney, Daniel Berney, Richard Ashley Lacy, and James Lacy; great-grandchildren, Christian, C.J., Rachel, Hannah, Sarah, Cameron, Chloe Berney, Gabriel Hawkins, Freya Kelley, and Addison Davidson; brother, Robert Myers; sister-in-law, Betty Myers; several nieces, nephews and special friend Shannon Thomas also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Charity Rinker Myers; husband, George Lacy, and 11 siblings.
