Mary Lou Grimes, 79, formerly of Hanover Township, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013, at Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Alan W. Grimes, who died in 2010. Born in McKees Rocks, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late W.F and Helen (Huchel) Kindle. She attended Westminster College and earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Her nursing career included public health nursing in Pittsburgh, private duty nursing in Bethlehem, and nursing and volunteering at Westminster Village until she became a resident there. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and greatly enjoyed her family, teaching them many different card games. Survivors: children, Kimberly Hall of Fredericksburg, VA, Thomas Grimes of Arizona, Craig Grimes of Lees Summit, MO, Daniel Grimes of Philadelphia, Jonathan Grimes of Sewickly; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
