Mrs. Mary Lorene McCoy, 90, of Cleveland. Mrs. McCoy passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born in White County on Sept. 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Indie Jane Nix. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John McCoy; daughter, Barbara Loggins, son, Cecil McCoy brothers Everett Harkins, Loyd Harkins and Howard Harkins
She was a lifelong resident of White County and a seamstress.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Carlton and Pat McCoy and Kenneth and Jane McCoy, all of Purvis, Miss.; daughters and sons in law Doris and Tony Wilbanks of Gainesville and Beverly and Clinton Pitts of Cleveland; brother, Vernon Harkins of Cody, Wyo.; sister, Evelyn Quackenbush of Tucker; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
