Mary Lee Robinson, 82 years, of Virginia, IL died December 4, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
She was born February 1, 1924 in Jacksonville, IL; the daughter of Harry Arthur and Ethel Sanks Bailey. She married Jack Robinson on August 14, 1965 in Virginia, IL and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie Lee Hobrock of Virginia; a grandson and his wife, Scott and Diana Hobrock of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Robinson was a 1942 graduate of Virginia High School and attended Monmouth College. She later graduated from Robert Morris Business College. From 1957 to 1960, she was employed by CIPS and from 1960 to 1965 worked for the Cass County Extension Service. She later served for many years as a part-time secretary with the McClure, Brannan & Hardwick Law Firm.
She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Virginia where she faithfully produced church bulletins over 13 years. An avid bridge player, she was a former 4-H leader and a former treasurer of the Virginia Womans Club.
