Mary L. (Valente) Guminiak, 90, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Teddy F. Guminiak, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016 after a brief illness. Mary was born on December 10, 1925 in Milo, Maine daughter of the late Paul and Lois Alta (Clement) Valente. She was raised in Maine, attended local schools and had resided in East Hartford for over 70 years. Prior to her retirement in 1989, Mary was employed for over 25 years with the Travelers Insurance Company.
