HARTFORD CITY, IN MARY L. (SPANGLER) TAYLOR, 87, passed away Thursday morning December 24, 2009, at her home. The daughter of Edward and Mary Etta (Talbert) Spangler, she was born November 20, 1922, in Daleville, Indiana. Mary was a graduate of Daleville High School, class of 1940, and obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech and Hearing Therapy from Ball State University. She married Donald C. Taylor on February 1, 1947. A teacher for 25 years, Mary taught in Anderson for one year before starting the Speech and Hearing Program for Blackford Community Schools.
