On Monday, February 16, 2009, Mary L. Russo of Milford, passed away at Saint Joseph Manor in Trumbull. A lifelong resident of Milford, Mary was born on March 2, 1929. She was the fifth child of Vincenzo and Congettina Attardo. She is predeceased by her brothers, Louis Attardo, Charles Attardo, David Attardo, and Joseph Attardo and by her sisters, Lillian Vanacore, Daisy T. Giordano, and Rosemarie Kimball. A former employee of the BIC Corporation for 25 years, Mary is survived by Ross, her husband of 60 years and by a son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Laura Russo of Florence S.C. in addition to being a very efficient employee of BIC’s Mary will be best remembered for being a generous and loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Her capacity for giving and sharing will be genuinely missed by those who knew her best. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of St. Joseph Manor for the loving care shown to Mary over the years of her prolonged illness.
