Mary Kovacs, 84, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Leslie Kovacs. Born in Rabakethely, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Gyorgy Mikos and Anna (Korpics) Mikos. Mary worked as a seamstress for many years for the former Phoenix Clothes/Greif Companies, Allentown, until retiring. She was a member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, in Bethlehem. Mary was an avid gardener and enjoyed baking. Survivors: daughters Mary Grande and husband Peter of Pen Argyl, Sheila Blanchard of Houston, TX, Ann Kressly and husband Doug of Bethlehem, Carolyn Kovacs of Allentown; grandchildren Victor, Nicole, Eric, Brandon, and Kevin; brother Joseph Mikos of NJ.
