Mary P. (Feriter) Klug, 86, of Ottawa, formerly of Peru, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Ottawa Pavilion. Mrs. Klug was born on January 29, 1932 in LaSalle to Patrick and Caroline (Mcclarnon) Feriter. She married Eugene F. “Gene” Klug on April 16, 1955 at St. Patrick’s Church in LaSalle. She was a member of LaSalle Women’s Club and St. Mary’s Church, Peru. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Jim) Ferrero of Ottawa and Maureen (Marc) Connelly of Cumming, GA; one son, Paul Klug of Chicago and four grandchildren, Kathleen Ferrero, Caroline Connelly, Shea Connelly and Lily Connelly and one sister, Margaret (James) Mueller of Peru.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene on October 10, 2015; two brothers, Jack and Philip Shea and one sister, Carolynn Shea. Pallbearers will be Donald Mathieson, Craig Bergman, Marc Connelly and Jim Ferrero.
