Obituary of Mary Kerridge

Kerridge, Mary (Pavlo) of Saginaw Township, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her home, with her family by her side. She was 81 years old. Mary Pavlo was born on August 12, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John and Elizabeth (Scorba) Pavlo. She was a proud graduate of Holy Rosary High School. During high school Mary worked for the Franklin Theater and later for the Shopper’s Fair. She married the love of her life, Wilford Lyle Kerridge on July 30, 1955 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on October 13, 2004. Mary was of the Catholic Faith and an auxiliary member of American Legion Post #439. She enjoyed playing cards, singing karaoke, cooking and was a gifted and talented sewer. Mary was a strong woman and very devoted to her family. Her soul embodied the essence of beauty, grace and eloquence, passing these traits on to all she loved. Mary will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, generosity and her willingness to be present yet dedicated in everyone’s life. Surviving are two sons: Mark A. Kerridge of Saginaw and Phillip W. Kerridge of Saginaw; one granddaughter, Sarah E. (Jeremy J.) Vasey of Freeland; two great-grandchildren: Cianna J. Vasey and Easton J. Vasey; a sister, Ann DeRosier of Saginaw; and a brother, Joseph Pavlo of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Helen Loder, John Pavlo and Andy Pavlo.
