Mary Kay “Muz” Roark of Canon City passed away on June 23, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Jeffrey, Keith, Kelli, Barry and Michael; daughter-in-law Deborah; her grandchildren, Kaeden and Teague; her brother, Gary; sister, Georgia; and an extended family of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George T. and Pauline Sanders; and her brother Norm. Mary Kay attended CSU, taught at Pueblo Central H.S. and Canon City. She was an avid golfer as a member of Shadow Hill G.C., loved her Denver Broncos, and enjoyed playing bridge with her close group of friends.
