Mary Joan Twitty, age 82, of Boerne, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2016. Born in Queens, NYC on April 23, 1934, she was the daughter of Kathleen Millette. She was a graduate of Holy Child Academy in NYC and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Twitty; her mother, Kathleen Millette, and her brother, Gerard (Gerry) Millette. Joan is survived by Mike and Maria Luhrman, Chris and Frances Valentine, Michael and Susan Valentine, Buddy and Katya Kuhn, and Daniel and Leslie Valentine; 9 Grandchildren and 4 Step –daughters, Anne, Amy, Karen, and Tammy.
