Mary Jo Rinker, age 50, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Saturday evening, August 11, 2018 in her residence with her husband at her bedside.She was born June 28, 1968 in Niles, Michigan, the only daughter and youngest of three children of Joseph Wiemer and Joy Ann Paugh. She married Scott Norman Rinker July 4, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He survives. Mary will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Scott Rinker, Sr. of Cassopolis; one son, Scott (Torie Conner) Rinker, Jr. of Cassopolis; two grandchildren, Skylar Conner, Tyler Rinker; two brothers, Joe (Bambi) Paugh of Benton Harbor, Dwayne (Liz) Elrod of Flagstaff, Arizona; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.The family will observe a private remembrance. Mrs. Rinker’s remains will be laid to rest near her parents in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, Michigan.
