Traphill, NC – Mary Jane English, 67 died at her residence on July 3, 2002 with her family by her side after a long illness.
A memorial remembrance may be made to a charity of choice.
Mary was born the daughter of Ernest and Ida May Wright Blauvelt on September 19, 1934 in Canandaigua, New York. She enjoyed bingo and cross-stitching. She won many ribbons for her cross-stitching including one time when she won first, second and third place in one contest. Mary retired from Xerox Corp. where she was a computer programmer.
Mary is survived by her daughters Joni (Dan) Harris of NC, Star (Robert) English-White of PA and Marci Piner of NC; five grandchildren and one great grandson; sisters Nancy (Charles) Race of Canandaigua, Suzanne (David) Simmons of Penn Yan, Patricia Blauvelt of Henrietta, Sandra (Bob) Wager of Penn Yan, Bonnie Thompson of TX and Linda Brink of Geneva; brother George (Pamela) Blauvelt of Williamson; many nieces and nephews.
