Mary Jane Phillips (nee Jones) of Burlington Township and Egg Harbor City died peacefully at home on Tuesday July 19, 2011. She was born September 9, 1920 in Burlington, New Jersey to the late Elizabeth Karins and Ross Jones.
She will be sadly missed by her many friends and loving family: her daughter and son in law Linda and William Llaris of Egg Harbor City, NJ; son Kenneth E. Phillips Jr. of Edgewater Park, grandson Juan F. Arocho of Burlington Township, twin sister and brother in law Virginia and John Case of Oceanside, California, brother and sister in law Ross and Chris Jones of Soquel, California and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phillips retired from her job as secretary for the Burlington County Library after many years.
She was formerly an active member of the Mt. Holly Hospital Auxiliary, Women’s Club of Burlington, bridge player and talented china painter. She was also a very active and life long parishioner of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Burlington.
