Mary J. Golden, 85, formerly of Fountain Hill, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Cedarbrook, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Golden, who died in 1992. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) McCloskey. Mary worked as a sales associate for the former Hess’s main store in Allentown, for 30 plus years, until retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, the Golden Hillers, and was also a former member of the Fountain Hill Republican Club. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary Ellen Oroskey and husband Joseph of Whitehall; son Thomas J. Golden and wife Tara of New Tripoli and twin sons John M. Golden of Royersford, and Edward P. Golden of Philadelphia; grandchildren Joey and Patrick Oroskey, Teal, Tori, and Teagen Golden.
