Mary H. Bennett Kitterman, 95, Anderson, died July 2, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness. She was born November 19, 1913 in Anderson and resided in Anderson all her life. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and obtained her B.A. and M.A. from Ball State University.
She retired in 1979 from teaching at Anderson High School. Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church and A.A.U.W. She is survived by her special friends; Helen Harrell, Jody Waruguru and Barbara Updike, all of Anderson.
Surviving are two cousins. She also had a special dog named CoCo. She was preceded by her parents; Carrie Owen & Ollie Bennett. Sister; Ruth A. Smith.
