The family is meeting at the home of her daughter Laura Simpson at 63 Third Street NW Concord, NC. . . Born in Cabarrus County on April 23, 1931 she was the daughter of the late James Leonard Miller, Jr. and the late Irene Maddie (Propst) Miller. Mrs. Gandy was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Gandy, Sr. who passed away in 1993, and also by a grandson Howard Lee Simpson. She is survived by her Son-Howard L. Gandy, Jr. of Concord NC, Daughter-Laura Frances (Gandy) Simpson of Concord, NC, Grandchildren Ronnie Clay, Jr., & Scottie Gandy.
