Mary Frances Modlin Baysinger, 87, Anderson, passed away April 21, 2011 at Community Hospital, Anderson after brief illness.
She was born February 11, 1924 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Mary was a homemaker. She liked to go camping and she collected cookbooks. She is survived by her three children, John L. Baysinger of Anderson, Billy Joe Baysinger of Anderson and Brenda Michael Henson of Markleville; brother, Bobby Doris Modlin of Anderson; sister, Kay Percy Murphy of Monterey, Tennessee; grandchildren, Marnie Short, Melissa Gronas, John J. Baysinger, Scott Henson, Donavon Baysinger, Carrie Baysinger and Jerrod Baysinger; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Betty Guenthenspherger. A special thank you to Dr. Jetty, Dr. Neva Lynch-Johnson, Community Hospital 3rd floor east and the ICU staff.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Baysinger in 1998 and parents, Ernest and Luella Rich Modlin; grandchildren, Troy Baysinger and Jessica D. Henson and siblings, Herman Lee, Linda Modlin, Donald Modlin, Phyllis Sarvis and Erma Bartlett.
