Mary Virginia Fedonczak passed away on September 14 , 2012, after a short battle with myelodysplastic syndrome, (MDS). She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, CMSGT Joseph C. Fedonczak, 6 sisters, and 2 brothers in Newfoundland, Canada. She is survived by three sons, Charles (Patricia), Jon (Candace) and David (Terri), eight grandchildren, Ingrid, Brooke, Michael (Meredith), Ethan, Kinsey, Alyssa, Katelyn, and Emily, one great-granddaughter, Bella, and one sister, Veronica, in Halifax, Canada. She is also survived by many loving relatives in Newfoundland, Canada, especially Emmie Hartery and her family, Sheila and Godfrey Wedgewood and the Dawe family. Virginia’s passing leaves a huge void in her family. She was a loving Mother and friend, full of understanding and generosity. She was the voice of reason for her family and friends, always willing to listen to anyone’s troubles and offering calming advice. She will be missed immensely by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
