Mary Emma Greenzweig, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Edwin Greenzweig, with whom she shared over 67 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Wismer) Matz. She was an enthusiastic and life-long promoter of Bethlehem. Mary Emma graduated from Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business School. She worked as a secretary at Moravian College for many years, retiring in 1983. Mary Emma was a lifetime member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, and was involved in many church activities, including the choir and teaching Sunday School. She also enjoyed gardening and making crafts, but most of all she was a devoted mother to her family. Survivors: loving husband Edwin; daughter Ann Greenzweig of Bethlehem; son John Greenzweig and his wife Marianne of Minneapolis, MN; 2 step-grandchildren; brother Rev. Dr. William Matz; and nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brother, Donald Matz.
