Mary Ellen Snyder, 87, passed away November 22, 2014 in Canon City, Colorado. The daughter of Curtis H. and Evelyn Marie (Miller) Brown, she was born on December 6, 1926 in Sandusky, Ohio. Mary lived in the Phoenix area for 44 years, where she was an electronics technician at Sperry Rand for 25 years. Her hobbies included making jewelry doing ceramics, and reading. She also enjoyed playing on the computer daily. Mary loved her children, grandchildren, and her friends; and loved to spend time with them. Mary is survived by her children, Edward Herold, Gary Herold, and Dotty White; step-children, Kathy Parson, Harry Snyder, and Carl Patrick Snyder; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Snyder; son, Richard Herold; sisters, Katherine Miller and Betty Gorman; and brother, Charles Brown.
