Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Fox passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer on March 26, 2015. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to Antonia and Roy Eastman. She graduated from Monrovia High School, in Monrovia, CA, and from Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, CO with a degree in occupational therapy in 1950. Beth met George Fox at CSU and they were married in Westcliffe, Colorado on September 12, 1948. They were married for 61 years and raised two daughters, Christine and Pat. In addition to her work as an occupational therapist, Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had many interests, including playing the piano, reading and opera. She was a world traveler and an avid gardener (especially of raspberries, peaches and roses). For many years, Beth belonged to a book group, bridge club and later to a cancer support group. She was kind, caring, generous and an inspiration to all who knew her. Beth was preceded in death by her parents and her husband George (1922-2010). She will be greatly missed by her family, sister Nancy Nagel (Bob Nagel); daughters Christine Fox (Gordon Broomhall), Patricia Fox-Duvall (John Duvall); granddaughters Kelly Hoehn, Erica Torres, Jacqueline Torres; and many friends.
