Mary Elizabeth Dunham Bunce, 82, of Greer, SC went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on June 7, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on May 3, 1931, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Madison County until 2002 when she moved to Greer, SC.
She was a graduate of the Alexandria High School, Class of 1949, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bunce worked as the secretary at Bunce Auto Sales, Inc, and Elder Beerman from 1990 – 1999. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Taylors, SC. She is survived by her three children: Sonia Bunce Buck of Muncie, D’Anne William Braden of Murfreesboro, TN, and David Marcy Bunce of Greer, SC, grandchildren, Lynna Chef Jason Reynolds, Beth Jeremy Wichert, Mary Buck, Sarah Joel Wagner, Esther Bunce, Amy Rick Boyer, Jared Bunce, Bryan Buck, and Rachel Joshua Steinmetz, great-grandchildren, Keegan, Kaiden, Paul, Hannah, Will, Grace, Kara and Joseph, five nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max M. Bunce, mother, Esther Dunham, father, Orville Dunham, siblings, Catharine Wilson, Joan Frischkorn, Francis Valentine Dunham, one nephew, and three great-grandchildren, Anna Wichert, Andrew Wagner, and James Steinmetz.
