Mary Elaine Clark, 79 of Centralia, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. She was born June 2, 1935 in Monroe County, Kentucky, daughter of Herbert Clark and Ollie Ida (Beals) Clark.
Ms. Clark is survived by her adopted family: Kenny Ingersoll and wife Donna of Centralia, Jessica Ingersoll of O’Fallon, Adam Mathis and wife Jennifer of Centralia, Kassandra Ingersoll of Centralia, Joseph Garrison of Centralia, Chris Williams and Jordan Williams both of Centralia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her foster mother, Myrna. Mary was a member and the Youth Leader of Eternity Baptist Church in Centralia. She was also the Head of the Missions Committee, the funeral dinner chairperson, and she led the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry.
