Obituary of Mary Edith Boykin
Mrs. Boykin was born July 7,1920 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and moved to the Arkansas Baptist Childrens Home in Monticello, Arkansas when she was 2 years old. When she turned 18, she moved to Bradley County where she met and married Wesley J. Boykin. In 1948 they moved to Bastrop, Louisiana where they resided until death.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Moore of Bastrop, LA ; two sons, Doyle Boykin of Bastrop, LA , Douglas Boykin and wife Patsy of Bastrop, LA; special granddaughter, Katy Moore of Bastrop LA; grandchildren, Mary F. Boykin of Bastrop, LA, Morgan A. Boykin of Bastrop, LA, Dean Boykin of Trophy Club, TX, D’Ann Tidwell of Lake In The Hills, IL, David Boykin of Charlotte, NC, Carissa Cerda of Spring, TX; great grandchildren, Ryan, Bob, Morgan, Meredith, Chad, Nicholas, Noah, Cabrian, Tyler, Austin and great great grandson, Ethan.
Mrs. Boykin is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley J. Boykin; granddaughter, Tina and great granddaughter, Michelle.
