Mary E. Ninfo of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Samuel P. Ninfo who died in 2003. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rocchina (Caruso) Schiavone. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem and a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church and its Holy Rosary Sodality. Mary was a loving homemaker, that devoted her life to her family. Survivors: Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son, Samuel A. Ninfo and his wife Susan; sister, Concetta “Connie” Berry all of Bethlehem; brother, Pasquale Schiavone and wife Cindy of Bethlehem Twp.; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; and special friend and cousin Raffie Nicolo. Mary is also survived by her granddog Winston. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters Lena Bender and Anne Schiavone.
