Mary E. Morrow, 80, of Newton died on Monday, October 7, 2019, at MercyOne Newton Medical Center.
Mary, the daughter of Pete and Doris (Scheffers) Dingeman, was born on October 23, 1938 in Pella. She grew up in Pella before moving to Newton in her teen years. On June 1, 1956, Mary was united in marriage with Gene Fults in Newton. Following his death in 1981, she was married to Gale Morrow. Mary worked at the Maytag Company for 20 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the UAW Local 997.
Mary is survived by her children, Lonnie (Kathy) Fults of Kellogg, Melissa (Jim) Robinson of Newton, and Amy (Todd) Trease of Newton; seven grandchildren, Shane (Amy) Engle, Stephanie (Justin) Taylor, Angie (Josh) Mohler, Luke Fults, Matt (Angie) Fults, Molly Bruns, and Katie Fults; her 12 great-grandchildren, Tessa, Taylor, Noah, Madison, Dillon, Kaleb, Isabelle, Lexi, Drew, Adelyn, Ella, and Quinten; siblings, Don (Joann) Dingeman of Del Rio, Texas, Marge Calvin of Oskaloosa, and Vickie Walter of Newton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Gene Fults; second husband, Gale Morrow; son, David Fults; and sister, Ginny Simpson.
