Mary E. Dinelli, 94, of Peru, died at 5:00 a.m. Sunday, June 10, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Peru. Mrs. Dinelli was born Dec. 8, 1912, in LaSalle, to Rosario and Catherine (Catalanello) Oddo. She retired from Grace Andersons Store in LaSalle.
She married Joseph Dinelli in June of 1937 at Holy Rosary Church in LaSalle. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, its Altar and Rosary Society, Business and Professional Womens Club, LaSalle Civic Womens Club, South Bluff Country Club and Court de LaSalle Catholic Daughters of America. She was a volunteer for Red Cross bloodmobile and served as a Gray Lady for six years for St. Marys Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by 2 sons, Donald R. Dinelli of Oakland, Calif., and Dr. Joseph E. Dinelli of Phoenix, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Feb. 16, 1962; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
