Mary Elizabeth Campbell of Braintree, passed away on Wednesday July 16,2003, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton,MA; after a lengthly was 83 years old.
Born January 19, 1920, in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond F. Campbell and the late Mrs. Mabel E. (Bailey) Campbell. Coming from Boston, she spent the last 30 plus years in the Braintree area.
She was a Medical Secretary at the former University Hospital in Boston, retired in 1988, and later volunteered at the Braintree Senior Center.
She had various hobbies and talents.
She was the proud owner of The Latchstring Specialty Shop, on Charles Street in Boston,MA
She is survived by her brother; Raymond F. Campbell of Cheshire,CT. and her sister; Dorothy C. Geddes, of Stoughton,MA. She was also the sister of the late Lt. Col. Jean Campbell of St. Petersburg,FLA. And Stoughton, was the loving Aunt to Mrs. Susan G. Love of Stoughton,MA, Mr. H. Paul Geddes of Needham,MA., Mr. Sanford Campbell of Marblehead,MA. and Mr. Chat Campbell of Taos,New Mexico. Also survived by many Great-nieces and great-nephews.
