Mary Deann Camerlin, 34 of Jim Thorpe, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 9, 2009, Born in Pompton Plains, NJ, she was the daughter of Anthony and Teresa (Camerlin) Alfonso with who she resided and Joseph Bernoth of Patterson, NJ. Overcoming the odds, she lived for 34 years, when she wasn’t supposed to live past her first birthday. Mary was a very special girl who brought joy to anyone who ever met her. She especially loved her oldies music and her bean bags. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her mother Teresa and father Anthony with who she resided; paternal grandmother Charlotte Alfonso of Catasauqua; brother Michael Mahn at home; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Anthony Alfonso, Sr. and maternal grandparents John and Mary Camerlin.
