Bradley, Mary Catherine, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mary Catherine “Cathy” Bradley passed away peacefully Sunday morning August 22, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born to Irene and Richard Bruce Morgart in Bedford, Pennsylvania on February 18, 1934. On December 23, 1954, Cathy married Gerald Bradley in Cumberland, Maryland. They moved to Kalamazoo in 1957.
She was employed by the Kalamazoo State Hospital for 20 years before retiring. Cathy was preceded in death by her two brothers Raymond and Paul and two daughters, Debra Mason and Teresa Bright.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald, three sisters, Janet Crownover, Martha Mock, and Helen Wigfield, a brother, Clair, a son Larry, a grandson, Brian Mason, granddaughter Brenda Bright, and two great grandsons. A private ceremony and celebration of Cathy’s life was held yesterday. For her greatest love was for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and gardening at her cottage in Allegan County.
