Born in 1940 in a rural Ohio farm house to Kenneth and Virginia Blair, Mary was the 2nd of 6 children and enjoyed a happy childhood.
At age 11, she was struck by polio and told she would never walk or have children, but Mary’s iron will and determination allowed her to defy the odds throughout her life.
In 1959 she married Robert Marshall and together they had 6 children: Ginger, John, Robert Jr, Scott, Susan (Hubert), and Kristina (Kallstrom), 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, and Christian, she worked in banking, insurance, church service, and enjoyed volunteering at church and in schools. She loved music, especially gospel, and baked the world’s best brownies.
She is survived by her siblings Tom, Martha, Frank and Charlie, and is preceded in death by her husband Bob, brother Ken, daughter Kristina, and grandson Benjamin.
