Mary Annis Roane Rumler, 73, Anderson, died March 24, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1938 in Milton, West Virginia, and had lived in this area since 1955. Mary was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married December 24, 1982, William “Bill” Rumler; children, Doug Fitzwater of Anderson, Tonya Demski Ray of Mobile, AL, Brenda Holtzleiter Vince of Anderson, Tony Fitzwater of Los Angeles, CA and Robert “Rob” Fitzwater Renee of Bytown, TX; stepchildren, William Jr. Rumler Tammy of Shirley, IN, Tim Rumler of New Castle, IN & Beverly Owens Terry of Noblesville; brother, Charles “Chuck” Roane Sharon of Anderson; sisters, Elsie Fuller of California & Joann Newman Jack; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Jean Davis Gerald of Hanging Limb, TN & Anna May Lasley of Frankton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Madison County Cancer Center for their compassionate care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Ruth Bragg Roane; and two brothers, David Roane and John Mark Roane.
