Mary (Cimoch) Chmielewski of Burlington, NJ passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Sunday October 16, 2011 at the age of 95. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Josephine Cimoch. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to Stanley Chmielewski. She was born in Philadelphia, PA but was raised in Poland, returning to the United States when she was 21 years old.
She worked during the war in munition factories and as a waitress at the Polish Home in Philadelphia where she met her beloved husband, Stanley. Mary and Stanley worked together in five self owned businesses. The last was the Diamond Casino, later changed to the Londonshire House for 50 years. Mary stayed busy with her business and raising three children; Diane Malinowski (wife of the late Robert Malinowski) of Burlington, Stanley Chmielewski of Burlington, George and Karen Chmielewski of Burlington, seven grandchildren; Denise Bolt Chmielewski (Christopher), Tricia Hill Malinowski (Kevin), Sandi Chmielewski and Christopher Chmielewski, the late Stephanie Chmielewski, Damon Chmielewski (Matthew), six great-grandchildren; Andrew, Katharine, Nathaniel, Aidan, Riley and Serene. She is also survived by her two sisters Wanda in Poland and Elinka of Trenton.
