Mrs. Mary Ann Spicer, of Greenwood, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was 90. She was born March 22, 1929 in Greenwood, one of seven children born to the late Joseph L. and Flossie M. (McCormick) Totten.
Mary attended Greenwood High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1947. She had worked for 10 years for the Brougher Insurance Agency of Indianapolis as a data entry clerk before retiring in 1992.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Carol (Mike) Allen and Annette Spicer; her grandchildren, Erin Sparks, Sara Allen and Kari (Shahn) Riley; her five great-grandchildren; her sister, Martha Holeman as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of nearly 60 years, Philip M. Spicer; four brothers and a sister.
