Mary Ann J. (Simrell) Williams of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the devoted wife of William J. Williams with whom she shared over 61 years of loving marriage. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Stahlheber) Simrell. Mary Ann was a graduate of South Scranton Catholic High School and went on to attend L.C.C.C. and DeSales University. She was employed as the Distributor Sales Manager of Air Products for 20 years until retiring. Mary Ann was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and the 55 and over club. She enjoyed traveling with her job and personally going to the shore with her family and friends in Ocean City, MD. Mary Ann loved her family and friends dearly and always enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband William; son William J. Williams, II and his wife Lyn of Bethlehem; daughter Mary Lynn Gambone and her husband Ernest of Souderton; siblings Joseph Simrell and his wife Joan Anne of Scranton, Gerald Simrell and his wife Cathy of Scranton and Ann Burke of Scranton; grandchildren Adam, Caroline, William III and Thomas; sister in laws Helen, Maryanne and Patricia Simrell all of Scranton as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her siblings Thomas, Francis and John Simrell.
