Mary Ann (Messino) Hack, 87, of Peru, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Manor Court in Peru surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Hack was born on July 9, 1930 in LaSalle to Frank and Josephine (Borys) Messino. She married William G. “Bill” Hack on June 26, 1948 in the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle. Mary Ann retired from J.C. Penny, Peru after several years of employment.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Peru. Mary Ann volunteered at the Underseller, enjoyed socializing with her pool exercise group, making floral arrangements and attending her grandchildren’s athletic events. She is survived by her one son, Gregory (Kathy) Hack of Peru; two grandchildren, Hilary (Brandon) Maciejewski and Tony Hack; one sister, Betty (John) Giovannini of Peru and one sister-in-law, Rose Anderson of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill on October 27, 2010; one son, John Hack in infancy and two brothers, Jerry and Billy Messino.
