Mary Ann (Gimpert) Murphy, 57, of Catasauqua, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Temple University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of James Murphy with whom she shared over 24 years of loving marriage.
Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Bender) Gimpert. Mary Ann was a graduate of Liberty High School. She worked for St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill for over 27 years, including 16 years in the Maternity Unit. Mary Ann was an avid Longaberger basket collector and associate. She loved angels, music and dancing. Mary Ann had an outgoing personality and was a compassionate and loving individual and will be missed by all that knew her.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim; children Kevin Rodriguez, Haley Murphy, Marissa Murphy and Dylan Murphy; sister Susan Borso; brother Billy Gimpert and his wife Gerry; and her loving grandchildren Lexie, Jayceon, Jayden, Avery, Jordan, Ethan, Cadence and Lincoln.
