Mary Ann (Dale) Wallace, 80 of Guntersville, AL, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born May 31, 1942 to Oscar Martin Dale and Thelma Mae Dale.
She is survived by her husband of 60 Years, Larry H. Wallace; son, Stephen (Christina) Wallace of Duffield, VA; daughter, Cathy (Doug) Davis of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Deidra (Ryan) Cox, Centre, AL, Tori (Walter) Granthum, Foley, AL, Garrett Wallace, Duffield, VA, Kinslie Wallace, Duffield, VA, Jake Wallace, Duffield, VA; Brothers, Calvin (Jeanette) Dale, Brentwood, TN, Allen Dale, Huntsville, AL, Jimmy (Fran) Dale, Knoxville, TN; Sister, Nancy (Alex) Hopkins, Old Hickory, TN; Sister-in-law: Linda (Bernard) Granger, Huntsville, AL
She is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Thelma Dale & Siblings, Elizabeth Boaz, Martin Dale, Joe Dale, and Kathy Sue Dale
Mary Ann was a 1960 Graduate of Central High School in Fayetteville, TN, and a graduate of Draughon Business College in Nashville, TN. In her 80 years, Mary Ann was a true role model of a strong, Christian woman. She always found the good in people, and she always gave a helping hand when needed. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She always put others before herself. Mary Ann was a two-time breast cancer survivor; however, she succumbed to dementia on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She died peacefully at her home in Guntersville surrounded by members of her family.
